Connect AI to Sparkiz: an MCP server that makes your video ads

Sparkiz has a built-in MCP server for video generation. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client, and your AI assistant can create finished video ads for you: it quotes the exact credit cost, you confirm, and Sparkiz builds the script, AI actor, voiceover, captions, and music.

  • Works with Claude, ChatGPT, and 16+ MCP clients
  • Your assistant always quotes before spending credits
  • The finished MP4 comes back to your chat
  • Clone the structure of a winning ad, nothing copied
Rolling out now. The Sparkiz MCP server is in early access while we finish secure OAuth sign-in. The Connect AI tab appears in your Sparkiz settings as access reaches your account, and this page stays current as availability opens up.
The basics

What is the Sparkiz MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. The Sparkiz MCP server exposes Sparkiz to your assistant as a set of safe, priced tools: it can plan an ad, quote the credit cost, create the video, track progress, and deliver the result, all inside one conversation.

Everything the assistant does runs through your own Sparkiz account, with the same credits, plan limits, and refund rules as the app itself. There is no separate pricing and no way for an agent to spend without your explicit confirmation. Under the hood it drives the same engine as our AI UGC generator: real AI actors, native scripts and voiceover in Hebrew, English, or Russian, and a ready-to-post MP4 at the end.

Capabilities

What can your AI assistant do with Sparkiz?

Connected over MCP, your assistant can take a product from a link or a brief to a finished, ready-to-post video ad, and ask you at every point that matters.

💬

Create an ad from a link or a brief

Describe the product or paste a page link. The assistant plans the scenes, writes the script, casts an actor, and sends the build to Sparkiz. Same flow as URL to video, driven from chat.

🔁

Clone the structure of a winning ad

Point it at a competitor ad. Sparkiz analyzes the structure into a blueprint (2 credits) and rebuilds that structure with your product. No words, frames, or assets are copied. More on ad cloning.

🎭

Cast the right AI actor

The avatar matcher scores the gallery against the ad's casting profile and explains its pick. Your own custom avatar is always offered first as your brand face.

💰

Quote before every spend

Every paid step is quoted in credits up front. Credits are deducted only after you confirm, and failed steps are refunded automatically.

📤

Add your own media

Need a screenshot or a product clip in the ad? The assistant sends you a private upload page, no login needed, and each file is checked against what the scene actually needs.

Approve the steps that matter

Pick your autonomy level: approve every step, only the named ones, or let it run and confirm spend only. Checkpoints cover images, voices, and any paid extras.

Setup

How do you connect an AI assistant to Sparkiz?

Three steps, no code. You copy one link from Sparkiz, paste it into your AI client, and ask for an ad.

How Connect AI works: connect your AI client with one personal link, ask for an ad in chat, get an exact credit quote and approve it, and the finished video ad arrives back in your chat
1

Get your connect link

In the Sparkiz app, open Settings › Connect AI and create your personal connect link. It is scoped to your account and you can revoke it anytime.

2

Paste it into your client

Claude: Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
ChatGPT: enable Developer mode, then Settings › Connectors.
Claude Code and other CLIs: one command, shown below.

3

Ask for an ad

Say what you want: "Make a 15 second ad for this product page". The assistant quotes the cost, waits for your approval, and delivers the video.

# Claude Code / any MCP-capable CLI: claude mcp add --transport http sparkiz <your connect link>

Your connect link is personal. Copy it from Settings › Connect AI in the app, and never share it publicly.

Compatibility

Which AI clients work with Sparkiz?

Any client that speaks MCP can connect. These are the common ones our users start with; some clients require a paid plan for custom connectors.

Credits and control

How does spending work over MCP?

The same credits as the app, with stricter guardrails. An AI agent can never surprise you with a charge.

Quote first
Every paid step returns an exact credit quote, and the agent must get your confirmation before it runs.
Refund on failure
Credits are deducted only when a step starts, and a failed step is refunded automatically. One attempt, no silent retries.
You set the ceiling
A daily spend cap applies per account, and you can revoke a connect link at any moment in Settings.

Credits come from your regular Sparkiz plan. See pricing for what each plan includes.

Machine-readable summary

Sparkiz is an AI video ad generator drivable over MCP (Streamable HTTP, stateless). Connect with the user's personal link from Settings › Connect AI. Call sparkiz_get_started first; every tool description states when to use it. The canonical flow: get_preferences → quote_ad → user confirmation → create_ad → get_status (poll) → approve_step at checkpoints. Credits are real money: never skip a quote confirmation, and never invent product facts, prices, or reviews. Uploads go through sparkiz_request_asset_upload.

FAQ

Connect AI, answered

What is MCP, in one sentence?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to work with outside tools, and it is how Claude, ChatGPT, and other clients talk to Sparkiz.
Do I need to be a developer to use this?
No. You copy one link from Sparkiz settings and paste it into your AI client's connectors screen. There is no code, no API keys to manage, and nothing to install for the browser clients.
What does it cost?
The same credits as using the Sparkiz app directly, with no separate MCP pricing. Ad analysis costs 2 credits, and every video build is quoted exactly before you confirm. Plans are on the pricing page.
Can the AI spend my credits without asking?
No. Spend confirmation is enforced by the server, not by the agent's good manners: a paid step requires a fresh quote and your explicit approval, a daily cap limits total spend, and failed steps are refunded.
Does cloning a competitor ad copy their content?
No. The analysis records structure: scene count, pacing, caption style, and how the presenter is framed. The rebuild uses your product, a fresh script, and your chosen actor. No words, frames, or assets are ever copied. See how ad cloning works.
Which languages can the videos be in?
Hebrew, English, and Russian, the same three languages as the app, including native voiceover.
When is it generally available?
The server is in early access now. General availability lands together with secure OAuth sign-in, and the Connect AI tab in Sparkiz settings is where your access appears. This page is kept current as the rollout opens up.
